While the amount and variety of information on the internet is increasing day by day, user needs for reaching these information also increases. Users' aims for reaching the related information fastly and correctly have caused the production of variety of services on this wide and distributed source. The most important ones among the services mentioned are the search engines like Google and Yahoo. These are word based search engines. They firstly find the words that describe the wanted information inside the documents on the web. Then, they display the location and the summary of the document to the user. In these services, forming the queries that fits the wanted information most appropriately and choosing the best answer among the ones coming as the result of the query complicate the access of the user to the related information.

Our project presents an ontology based question answering system that is going to have multilingual properties. In the scope of the project, lots of linguistic components will be developed and these will be able to be used in different studies. This product will attract the attention of the user as a result of its originality.
